Biography
Melisa Perez currently serves as the Administrative Specialist for the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards. Melisa Previously worked in the Office of the Chancellor and Office of University Relations for over nine years as an Administrative Assistant III serving under two chancellors. Melisa first joined her alma mater as a Communications Specialist Senior in the Division of Business Services, Accounting Services from October 2011 through September of 2015. Melisa came to UW-Madison after working for the former WI Department of Commerce, where she administered one of the nation’s first statewide affordable housing locators and housing services databases in the Bureau of Supportive Housing. Melisa has worked with many levels of government, private and philanthropic agencies including WHEDA, USDA, HUD, Wisconsin CAP agencies, Wisconsin Apartment Associations and utilities across Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa. Her roles have included being a marketing and communications coordinator, project manager, database administrator and a coordinator of training programs and event planning.
