Badger Responsible & Ethical Decisions (RED) Program

The Badger Responsible & Ethical Decisions (RED) program co-sponsored and facilitated by the Office of Student Conduct & Community Standards and Residence Life at UW-Madison.

This workshop is intended to challenge you to reflect on your values and decisions, and evaluate the impact of your actions on yourself and others. The workshop allows for individual reflection and group participation to identify your personal values, your goals as a UW student, evaluating decision making strategies, and applying the information to enhance your Wisconsin Experience.

Completing the program

Successful completion of the workshop will be communicated to the appropriate campus referrer. Student Conduct and Community Standards does not provide completion certificates or other forms of documentation indicating a participant completed this program for any non-UW referring agency.  Students may access completion information in your online learning transcript by logging in and selecting their registration and learning transcript at the top of the page.

Please note: Students are expected to pay the $25 program fee when they register for Badger RED. Refunds will only be administered for students who notify OSCCS in advance they need to re-schedule. Typically we will transfer to a future registration date. Required participants will not be considered compliant until payment is confirmed. Payments can be submitted online during registration or in person at the Office of Talent Management in Suite 5101 at 21 N. Park St.

A link to the registration page can be found in the decision letter (email) you received.
