AOD Program Reports
Below are annual reports for BASICS and Choices about Alcohol. Please note, at times the population size for assessment was not large enough to analyze the program with statistical significance.
In general, program assessment has found that students learn from both Choices about Alcohol and BASICS. More importantly, students who are open to the possibilities of changing their behavior when they start the program are more likely see their attitudes about drinking shift towards healthier, safer, and more responsible actions.
Where there has been feedback about program improvements, we try to utilize that with our partner agencies. For example, both Connections Counseling and Tellurian have no opened satellite locations to offer CASICS and BASICS closer to campus, based on feedback from students who had traveled to their clinic locations several miles away.
